Instead we tell the opposite
No matter how Far-fetched
No matter how blunt or crude
We lie
We avoid the truth
For we are afraid
Afraid of the consequences
Whatever they may be
We lie
We lie to our loved ones
We lie to our friends
We lie to our bosses
And we lie to ourselves
But, we are only human
And we make our mistakes
Its unavoidable
It just happens
We lie to everyone
Only true lies

haha ironically, that holds a lot a truth. but i don't think it's really 'true lies', i think it's more of the concept of 'everything you know is wrong' when you're on the other side of something you think is the truth but it isn't.
